OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (BSc Hons in BOccthy)
Following graduation as an Occupational Therapist in 2003, Jackie worked in community rehabilitation teams for the National Health Service in the UK. She specialises in assisting people who had long term neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries, providing equipment and services to promote living independently at home for as long as possible.
After migrating to Queensland in 2014, Jackie designed and coordinated an OT programme for a not-for-profit organisation working with marginalised people of all ages, aimed at restoring function with daily activities, and enabling community participation.
Jackie is passionate about that providing client education and client-centred collaboration are key to achieving best outcomes in practice.
