Not only does exercise make you healthier, it makes you happier! Making time for at least 15 minutes of moderate exercise a day can go a long way in improving the way you think, feel and look.My Rehab Team offers mobile dietetics, mobile exercises physiology, physiotherapy and a rehabilitation assistant – health coach, who are all happy to help organise healthy lifestyle changes with you.

Get activeRather than dealing with patients’ obesity, MPs urge that clinicians should promote regular physical activity, instead. Physical activity has only been recognised as a method of tackling obesity rather than for its physical and mental health benefits, state MPs. In a report from the parliamentary Health Committee1, evidence showed that mortality could be far more greatly affected than weight loss, through increased physical activity. MPs are pressing for a change in behaviour towards diets and physical activity through intervention on a personal and broader scale and access to universally available weight management services. Such interventions include: workplace incentives, referral to lifestyle weight management schemes and pricing and availability of unhealthy foods.
