Ingrown nails

An ingrown toenail is a condition where the toenail grows into the skin surrounding the nail, causing pain, swelling, and sometimes infection. The condition most commonly affects the big toe and can from improper nail cutting, poor fitting footwear, or genetic predisposition. Common symptoms include redness, tenderness, a feeling of pressure or a throbbing sensation. In severe cases an infection can develop and lead to the pus and bleeding which may require antibiotics.

My Rehab Team has mobile and in clinic podiatry service that can help you. Contact us on 1300465734 or info@myrehabteam.com.au for more information or feel free to peruse our wait time and service region pages (both have links to our referral forms).
