Men and Women are wired differently

It’s an age old debate: which is better, males or females?  While I’d love to be biased, the answer is…a bit of both!

In a recent study in the US, researchers scanned the brain activity of hundreds of young people, aged to 22.  Interestingly, and not that surprising, they found that the connections made in the brain differed between the sexes.  For example; the male brain carries out more connections between the hemispheres, while the female brain has more connections within the hemispheres.  Theoretically, this can be interpreted as men are better at coordinating their actions and women are better at analysing information.

So next time your partner does something that makes you think “why on earth did they do that??  Just remember that they may not think the way you do!

All the staff at My Rehab Team wishes you a Happy Valentine’s Day!
