AlzheimersGreen tea extract and exercise show signs of inhibiting the progression of Alzheimer’s in mice, according to a recent study published in the “Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease”. Two groups of mice – those treated with extract and those who were not – were tested on their cognitive functions. The group that had the extract in their system performed significantly better with improvements in cognitive function, memory retention and behavioural manifestations of Alzheimer’s. The study, conducted at the University of Missouri (Columbia), suggests that natural products may help at slowing the progression of the disease.
